What's the Difference Between Short, Sharp and Longer Protracted Conflicts?
Short, sharp conflict versus extended protracted one. What if the quick war fails? Or if there is a quick war and Russia doesn't go away? I have not actually seen a serious addressle of this. Not even Republicans are unified on that point. So how do you address that point? One of the things I'm laying out is a strategy broad, a strategic framework. It's not a particular play-by-play. Mine is like, make sure you take care of the primary threat. Don't mess around. Get that right. Meet a denial defense standard. And then mitigate what you have left after you've done that in priority terms.
