Polish Defense - The Early Mobilization Strategy

Poland would always look to mobilize its troops earlier than its enemies. This early mobilization strategy was a central part of Polish military plans as early as 1926. By the summer of 1939, the planning made by the Polish General Staff was based on the assumption that to fully mobilize its military, Poland would need an entire month. The plan involved moving all regular army units and anything that was mobilized to the frontier when the war started.
