The Stateless in Syria

There are prisons in Syria as well right now where there are over 30,000 pro-Islamic state fighters and ideologues under guard. There is no international system on how to deal with these people who had joined the Islamic State. So a lot of these people are still where they had traveled to and are stateless and will probably remain stateless for some time. It doesn't come out much in the public. But there is no sort of sure-short way of how this is being handled.
