Interpreting Pharaoh's Dream
Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dream of cows and ears of corn, revealing that it represents seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Impressed by Joseph's wisdom, Pharaoh appoints him as the one in charge of overseeing all of Egypt, leading to Joseph storing up food during the plentiful years. This chapter also explores Joseph's brothers' return to their father Jacob and their reluctance to bring Benjamin on future journeys.
