Sanctifying Grace
Gifts of the holy spirit are not necessarily sanctifying. Sanctifying grace is that grace which is healing, like asyoure mentioning, rightt the wounds of of it. So contrary to certain protestant reformers, we, as catholics, believe that grace has a genuine interior effect,. Like you said, it heals, it grows, allright? It makes us to be sons and daughters of god.
