Perth - The Best Regional Market Over 30 Years
Melbourne was the best performing market where we saw housing values increased by about 460% over the 30 year period. Regional Tazzy took out the gong for the best regional market up 361% in value over that full 30 years period. Perth is looking very good to me in terms of affordability. It's got extraordinary rental yields compared to the other cities, really tight rental markets. But that economy really needs to diversify. The volatility and the long term weakness through the second part of that 30 year period is just completely eroded the long term growth rate.
