The Limitations of Historical Materialism

i was involved for quite a few years, more or less, them to bame in these militant political projects. We saw an interest in organizing the working class outside of the n gos and union bureaucracies. And we attempted to theorize this at a relatively high level. But one of the obstacles we consistently encountered among those we tried to build relationships with was this unquestioned hegimony of post modern activist ideology. It obscured the centrality of the wage relation and of the side of production as a basis for any possible antagonistic political subject.
