In this episode, we look at the difference between eastern and western thought. A rabbi is using a parable to make the teaching harder, more difficult, not easier. An easterner wants you to experience almost te d ward searts the d and ends with discovery. And so that means that a good astern teacher is not going to just teach something flat out. They're going to try to bury the truth in the process of discovery. But for people who are willing to do the unearth digging, those truths will be found much more easily.
