The Incendiary Diver
Bauer worked with a local ironsmith to repurpose boiler plates into a practical submarine design. He called it, well, something German, but it translated to the incendiary diver. It was designed to crawl just under the surface to where the Danish ship were moored. And then he could attach a mine or basically a bomb to the side of one of them and then explode it from a safe distance.
