Raimani: As my view of these things has evolved, I've seen more and more occasions for a state that responds to these issues of accountability and climate to curb and redirect the capital. All this is based on profit calculations which come down to the fundamental capitalist axiom, which is to appropriate surplus value. Raimani: There are all kinds of carbon taxing, there are all kind of procedures that try to fiddle with the market to make it more responsive to these problems. It's called protectionism but has a bad name.
