The Wet Market Theory
Orientalism is this premise that the east is the opposite of the west. And so the wet market theory was premised on this idea that there ware these animals that shouldn't be brought into human society, and should defily not be sold in a unhygienic place like a wit market. But because of chinese animaybe traditional medicine or traditional superstition, they eat animals like pengolins, which are on the endangered species list. So even though science and, you know, the civilized world knows you shouldn't eat this stuff, i guess, instead, h chinese people persist in eating things they shouldn't be eating.
