The Path to Getting Petelses a Darto

Currently, when you send out an onion, you negotiate an h t l c on every channel across the path. And this makes the entire payment atomic, right? The intermediate note cannot like, steal it,. But if you wanted to make a path that uses an ht l c and tan p t l c and anh t l c, this would not work. Maybe there are some tricks that you can work around thi that i'm just not aware of, but, but this is my current understanding. So please, if somebody wants to correct this, i'd be happy to learn em.
