SARS coronavirus 2 isn't going away. It's entrenched in the human population and can infect other animal species, which can create reservoirs for it. We need to do a better job of making people aware of what they can do to reduce their own risk. The goal needs to be making sure that it has as minimal of an impact on us as individuals, on our communities, and on health care systems.
