Your parents generation in chile, their story was worthy of novels. Your generation were the secondary characters within your parents story. And we definitely see these quo secondary poets a lot in your new book. But even when you write about some one well known, say bolagno, you write mostly about his lesser known writings his poetry. So i guess i wonder if this position of your generation, and this question of how to write literature from this posit one of secondary characters, if that might partially be behind the impulse to make the father, in chilean poet, a secondary sort of father. It is against the idea that a poem is like a confession.
