How to Cope With Addiction
Ruth says we all have coping mechanisms which help us cope with everyday life stresses. But unhealthy coping mechanisms can lead to difficulties and probably ill health, potential for ill health with us. Almost anything could become addictive but there are other things that people use as more healthy coping mechanisms such as exercise or socialising. So I think it just depends on what it is that you are using to cope and the effect that might have on you in the longer term and whether you are able to stop with that difficulty.
