What Happens When You Can't Pay?
In Europe, most of the debt is bank debt. They may not be terribly leveraged, but they are incredibly tied to the stock market. The euro has dropped from beginning of the year from $1.22 to $0.95 recently. If you look at the chart of the euro, because I'm obsessed with it, I've always thought that the euro was going to be the first currency to fall. It also threw a weekly technical reversal signal and blah blah blah.
