Charlotte's mother-in-law Augusta and Lord Butte were not all that much in favor of Charlotte being the regent. They were playing political string pulling behind the scenes to not have this particular regency bill pass. So there's people working at cross purposes and they really didn't get a very good bill pass. George recovered, you know, hooray before any of this had to be even hammered out,. Well, and how much did Charlotte think about it? I mean, obviously George did, but you know, she was not even interested in politics.
