The Fed moved up from 3% to 4% on a 10-year, 30-year US treasury. That took less than three months to have that move. I think the move from 4% to 5% could happen even quicker. Think about the impact that those interest rates are going to have. What's 5% of a $31 trillion national debt? That's more than $1.5 trillion. And so now we're having to deal with the consequences of postponing the pain of every crisis by creating inflation.
