I think what eventually alienated me from the IMT, was like, there was a period of time where the abuse cover up had already happened and I was just kind of sitting around waiting for things to go anywhere. There's this patriarchal kind of discipline and expectation of deference towards just these random kind of goofy looking British guys that the organization was founded," she says. "That's just not something I can do" She adds: We've crossed the line between historical fabrication and misrepresenting the quote from negotiation versus, nah, this thing in physics is just wrong."
