The New Frontier in Diagnostics and Antibiotic Resistance

Dr. Kevin Mescar is an attending pediatric hospitalist and ID consultant at Children's Hospital Colorado. His research seeks to improve diagnostic tests and surveillance for central nervous system infections with a focus on enteroviruses and other emerging infectious diseases. Dr. Robin Patel has published over 500 publications and is the director of the laboratory center of the antibacterial resistance leadership group of the NIH.
