The worry here is of course that they might resort to some sort of identity politics, some exclusionary identity politics or ramp up us versus them polarizing rhetoric. Russian disinformation campaigns have fully tried to manipulate that. It's really tricky to identify who else would be a reasonable candidate to look out for.
