The Integral Model of Student Resistance
The integrated model of student resistance is the result of these systemic forces. These factors include what i call environmental forces, such as attitudes towards education and consumerous mentality. It also includes the students own internalization of family culture and things like this. The next major piece of that, of these kind of external forces, is just the student's prior negative experiences in the classroom. So often they struggle a lot in schoolo only because they don't understand how to navigate higher education.
