The Importance of Reflexive Control

John Avlon: I want to vector this conversation more towards influence and bring up the topic of reflexive control into our audience. He says it is an analytic technique that involves understanding a opponent's decision making processes, manipulating information in such a way so that when information is delivered you understand what your opponent is going to do with that information.Avlon: It's not especially useful in reality or in the context of global influence. And one of the silly examples that I like to use with reflexive control are people who say 'I don't know anything about Russia' because they have no idea how Moscow works.
