The Different Versions of Kiss the Girl

Fairy tales have never, were never supposed to be really like happy, right? Right. So, our dark and fairy tales warn, they warn you about the world. And so, with the Hans-Pristian Anderson version, I think the only thing I kept in Kiss the Girl was the idea that when she takes off her shoes, it feels like she's walking around crushed glass. That was the little mermaid sort of bargain when she trades her fins for feet. Her tongue is literally cut out by the sea, which in order to, it goes into the spell, it went into the cauldron. So, it's a lot more vicious.
