Is There a Dicodomy Between the Intrinsic and the Objective?

If only we were thinking rationally enough, we would all arrive at the same conclusions about the way that things are in the world. A truly rational being would never treat other people as a means to an end. And they certainly wouldn't go all altruist on you and sacrifice themselves on behalf of other people. She's making all these claims, but never relly spends much time explaining why these things need to be the case. i think that opens her up to criticism, because there's a lot of questions left unanswered.
