In some sense, like the first theory is much simpler in terms of the amount of stuff. To describe a collection of different kinds of solar systems might be fairly simple. It's not clear to me that we should really be thinking of a multiverse containing many different kinds of universes but generated in a very simple way. I think this is part of what people like, I think this gets banded around a lot. And so you can't cheat by just saying, well, at least maybe it feels like it should be cheating.
