The Philosophy of Interaction in Maps

Slack and Google Docs are very one dimensional. A map now is like in two dimension, like you have a whole other problem. So what's the philosophy behind making that process interactable or collaborative? I don't know if you think about it in the same ways of dimensions, but that's the first thing that comes to mind. And then yeah, and it requires a lot of sort of like iteration and then like, okay, there's certain things that are not easy to solve. We just try to do the right thing, which is that we kind of like know the bonding box of where the interaction happens.
