Gold was up one and a half percent on the week, bucking the returns in stocks. The GDX did not rise with gold; it was down 0.6 percent on theweek. But the juniors did a bit better: The GDXJ actually finished the week up one percent,. And it was up about one percent on the month. If you want to measure how much these mining stocks are down from their all time record highs, because gold 13 and ahalf percent decline is from its record high. So I think if the people who have big losses in arc, if they just cut and run, take those losses, accept they made a mistake."
