The Self Is Not a Mind
The self is terminus, not with the consciousness and the nician view, but with our physiological existence. Zarathustra describes s the self as a multiplicity. He says, it's a plurality with one sense, a war and a peace, a flock and a shepherd. So there's not one central ruler over what we call the self at least not necessarily. Rather, we have instincts and urges and demands from our physiology. These things are all included under what nicha calls drives.
