Is There a Difference Between Philosophy and Politics?
i believe that to do anything in politics, you have to know what to do. You can't have good or sound politics without philosophy. Even when acting in politics, there is some unthought through presupposition which was informed by phi sophy. i also wanted to raise the following question, which michael and i will explore. Is fairly short, small essay on why early twentieth century german philosophers, including strauss and heideger, are still relevant to the conversation to day. It's also a meditation and argument as to why, as distinct and may be separate, philosophy and politics seem to be, they are, in fact, inseparable.
