The Role of Gender in Society

If gender roles are purely a social construct then why do they replicate in most almost all societies around the world that's a question. The best way to figure out whether that's true is to remove as many barriers as possible from people being able to express what they their preference is so um yeah okay so we got no more to get through it if any more come in then we'll keep going I suppose.
