Databricks - Is Product Market Fit in the Traditional Sense?

How do you measure progress on quote product market fit when you're in a risk of burst market like health care with 18 month sales cycles? We just looked at various types of metrics of usage and adoption. Initially we gave the product away actually to a customer for free the first version of it. It happened pretty fast but I had to get the right leader and fired a previous person quickly.
