The Effects of Domestication Cyndrome on Bonobos
Bonobos are more open new experiences than champanzis. Because they're less capable of inhibition, it's probably also fair to say that bonobos are less conscientious than champanzes. Animals under the domestication sindrome just generally behave in a more pro social way. They retain repertoires of communicative behavior characteristic of their juvenile wild counterparts. And finally, there is cognitive changes. There are ways in which animals under thedomestication syndrum are better at solving certain classes of problems."
