How to Turn Off View Stats on YouTube

Marble Hornets is the only effective use I have ever seen of someone turning off the comments. It was for a particular effect, but if I ever saw someone who would like hidden their view stats on YouTube, I feel like I'd never stopped laughing at them. And it feels like there's much more guesswork in the podcast world about how many people even listen to your show. But they couldn't be dead with the iPhone and still downloading your shows.
