If you're blaming people, you're not helping them. That advice is not useful. If it was useful, i'd be the first one to give it. But it hasn't been useful. Has never been useful. So let's, let's do better, right? that's what i always think such an important message. And unfortunately, that's the way a lot of academic medicine works. It's all trying to turn our own failures asas in obesity on to these people who are suffering from it - which is jus blaming the victim.
