Extinction Rebellion

Extinction rebellion says traditional strategies like petitioning, lob in, voting and protests have not worked due to the rooted interests of political and economic forces. Since all other means have failed, what does work is mass civil disobedience. Bold actions like occupying roads, blockading bridges and creatively disrupting the work of banks which finance the climate crisis can capture government and media attention. While some may call our approach extreme, it is no more than what is necessary and far less desruptive than what is coming if we fail to act.
