The Immortality of Crows

A few cultures develop stories about crows either being extremely long lived or immortal. Their actual lifespan is about around like 10 years in the wild. I bet you could probably train a crow to be the ring bearer, but equal chance that it just runs off with the ring forever and then pawns it to buy some great crow snacks.
