I think about the show that I really wanted to hit was sort of the discourse around it because it is a point of departure from this book. So everybody in the book is white or like very strongly implied to be white. But on the other hand, like if you just insert people of color into white roles and don't change anything else about them, you can get yourself into a little trouble with contextual stuff that you haven't tweaked.
