The Effects of Participation Washing
A citizen's assembly in France presented a set of proposals to the government. President macron had promised that the proposals would be put to direct parliamentary debate with no filter. The critics say, il log this was participation washing. But it still managed to produce the most ambitious climate bill to date. I think its trigerd on national conversation around clemate, a change that i think was not really there yet.
