Luke's wife was still asleep when he told her about the bear outside their tent. She found it hilarious, even though she didn't fully understand the danger we were in. The next day they went to yosemite national park and learned that black bears are not likely to attack people unless they absolutely have to. They can be scared off quite easily by just making a lot of noise. And yes, i did get killed by a bear - but at least I'm dead now.
