The Life and Times of a Special Commissioner in Bulgaria
I really liked how you take his experiences there and show this experience of being a servant of the Ottoman Empire. And as it heads towards revolution in 1990, 1908. His biggest mission is becoming a special commissioner in Bulgaria at a time when Bulgaria was more or less an autonomous region. He has to walk a very, very delicate fine line, a balance between asserting the sovereignty of the empire over this region without offending people that are actually in power locally. I hope maybe you could just talk a little bit about that as well.
