Runway is a research company that has developed foundational and kind of like breakthrough models in research specifically for video and image generation. The idea of diffusion was kind of like a breakthrough that basically allowed this last wave of interest or hype that we've seen to go. There's definitely more compute on data, there's also more minds collectively thinking about these problems, which is great.
