Forgiveness in the History of the Church
Forgiveness is a distinctly Christian type thing. You don't find that kind of forgiveness in Islam, in Hinduism, in Buddhism. It goes back to Jesus on the cross saying, Father forgive them. The radical difference that Jesus makes at that point is still mind-blowing. And it's obviously healing and fruitful and regenerating in ways that the rest of the world can't imitate or often can't understand.
