I draw distinction between intellectual atheism and experiential atheism. I have put forward a seven-point scale from one total certainty, there is a God, to seven total certainty,. And I placed myself as a number 6.5. Many religious believers go through that kind of experience of atheism where they will suddenly seem totally devoid and empty of God. It might have been that experience of Jesus on the cross, you know, when he said,My God, my God, why is that forsakenly?
