I think that's one of the troubling ideas is we've been hitting on. I don't think God wants us living a life where you're afraid that if you drop your Bible on the ground he may have his wrath break out against you in this same way. Grace means God helps and the picture of God's grace as he lets us off is actually the wrong picture of grace. And again, going back to Uzzah, in my mind, just thinking now, I think that God was angry in the moment at what was going on. But that doesn't mean that he still wasn't loving Israel. And it's mercy that only Uzzah died and Jesus was eventually born.
