I think anybody who's really serious about getting in good shape and improving their body composition especially should follow a strict meal plan at some point even if it's just for a few weeks. Most people have no conception of how many calories are in certain foods especially the more processed stuff. I would say the people who seem to do the best with intuitive eating, which is based on food that you had around you as well as your activity levels.
