It is a good idea to give students samples of things and what they're done, because it's a visualization tool. So we have to develop communication systems that are realistic and work for both of the parent and the teacher. We respect the individuals with whom we are fortunate enough to be part of the team. And then give each partnerher the benefit of the doubt and recognize ther limitations. That's a respectful thing to do. Never speak negatively about your team member, whether it's the parent, whether it’s another teacher, in front of the child. I listen to the child. We listen to understand, not to respond.
