The US Military Assistance to the Ukrainians
The US has provided around $36 billion in military hardware. Most of that is what we call a drawdown authority where we're literally just transferring from our own stocks or our own warehouses right over to the Ukraine. Some of that we are actually buying for them and then a little bit is kind of longer term procurement. Despite the fact that the EU and the United States have roughly the same size economies, the numbers I have, the NATO countries together have provided about $19 billion in military assistance while the United States has provided $36.
