The Global Dimming Effect Isn't a Catch 22
If we continue to emit like we are, then the global dimming effect is never really going to be noticed. The worse it's going to be when we stop emitting. It might be 0.5 to 1.1 degrees Celsius range right now, but in the future that could bump up to between 1 and 2 degrees Celsius. And a rapid decline in industrialization doesn't have to be on purpose. It can happen through collapse.
