He Who Mocks the Poor, Insults His Maker
He who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished. How often do I take some kind of pleasure in the suffering of others? We recognize that it's a weakness in our own character when we rejoice in the failings of others or in the calamity of others. And so just a good way in which we can let our hearts be pierced once again, by God's word, let's do one to Jeremiah and Judith.
